Samsung Electronics faced adverse reactions in Iran over an Israeli commercial that featured Mossad agents, dressed up as women, using a Galaxy Tab to blow up what appears to be an Iranian nuclear facility. The South Korean corporation said that it did not take part in the production of the advertisement, claiming it was made by an Israeli cable television channel. The cable channel featued the tablet in the controverisal avertisement, offering it as a gift as part of its latest subscription campaign. A senior Iranian lawmaker said that the country's energy committee was looking into banning sales on the Galaxy Tab.
