Microsoft owned, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service and software application company, Skype, denied making system changes that permit law enforcement greater access to its user conversations. The company claimed that changes were made solely to improve 'user experience and reliability' and that actual call data bypasses its equipment going directly from one user's equipment to another.
